CalledUp (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of coaches, parents, and players who use our service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you sign up
  • Team data: team name, age group, season, and settings you configure
  • Roster data: player names, jersey numbers, positions, and guardian contact information you enter
  • Schedule data: game and practice dates, locations, and results
  • RSVP responses submitted by guardians

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the CalledUp service
  • Send team communications and game reminders on your behalf
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use roster data or guardian contact information for any purpose other than operating the service.

Children's privacy

CalledUp is intended for use by coaches and guardians (adults). We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. Player records in the app represent minor athletes and contain only information entered by a coach or guardian. We do not use player information for marketing or share it with third parties.

Information sharing

We share information only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • Business transfers: If CalledUp is acquired or merged, user information may transfer to the new owner, subject to the same protections.

Data retention

We retain your account and team data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, which will permanently remove your data within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@calledup.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
