Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using CalledUp. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Who can use CalledUp

You must be at least 18 years old to create a CalledUp account. CalledUp is intended for coaches, team managers, and guardians of youth athletes. By signing up, you confirm that you are an adult and are authorized to manage or participate in the team you are creating or joining.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@calledup.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

Coach and manager responsibilities

When you create a team on CalledUp, you take on responsibility for:

• Ensuring the player and guardian information you enter is accurate and that you have permission to manage it
• Obtaining consent from guardians before adding their contact information or inviting them to the platform
• Using CalledUp only to manage your own team — not to collect or store data about players or families you are not authorized to manage
• Complying with your league's rules and any applicable local regulations when using CalledUp to communicate with families

Acceptable use

You agree not to use CalledUp to:

• Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited messages to other users
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates anyone's rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose other than managing your own team
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any team or organization

Content you provide

You retain ownership of the information you enter into CalledUp, including player names, schedules, and messages. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Do not enter sensitive information (such as medical records or financial information) into CalledUp — the platform is not designed for that purpose.

Service availability

We aim to keep CalledUp available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice for planned downtime or significant changes when possible.

Free tier

CalledUp is free for your first team. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. Existing teams on the free tier will receive advance notice before any pricing changes affect them.

Limitation of liability

CalledUp is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including loss of data, missed game reminders, or communication failures. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
